Knight Frank receives RICS Awards for the second year running

Knight Frank received RICS awards for the second year running.  Knight Frank’s Residential team garnered the Residential Agency Team of the Year Award, while Ms Connie Yung was a top three finalist for the Young Achiever of the Year Award.  This recognises the outstanding achievements and excellent service provided by the company.

Residential Agency Team of the Year
Knight Frank’s Residential team completed 379 residential sale and lease transactions, 69 lease renewals and 1,154 serviced apartment leasing transactions in 2012.  The total number of transactions in 2012 increased 35% year-on-year.  Our bespoke property management service has become the preferred choice for major corporate groups such as HSBC on whose behalf we currently manage over 200 tenancies.  During 2012, our International Project Marketing Department facilitated over 20 high quality overseas projects and sold over 250 apartments.
 
Top 3 finalist - Young Achiever of the Year
Ms Connie Hung was awarded a PhD from the University of Hong Kong at the age of 25, making her one of the youngest PhD recipients in Hong Kong.  In 2008, Connie joined Knight Frank as a Graduate Surveyor.  One year later, she qualified as a professional surveyor and was promoted to Assistant Property Manager to provide tenancy and asset management services to HSBC.   In 2012, Connie was promoted to Associate Director and relocated to Shanghai where she is now working in-house at L’Oréal providing tenancy and transaction management services across the Asia-Pacific region.
 
About the RICS Hong Kong Awards 2013
Organised by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the RICS Hong Kong Awards 2013 aim to recognise the contribution and outstanding performance of agencies, teams and individuals in the industry.  It celebrates the talents and team spirit of surveyors, property developers, cost consultants, project managers and planners.  With prominence and industry recognition, the awards have received tremendous support from real estate-related organisations and have received a total of 55 nominations.  The awards evening was held on Thursday 14 March 2013 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong.
