Our Valuation teams continue to act as external valuers for the annual property valuations of many well known publicly listed companies and investment funds in Greater China. Our team also carries out property valuations for Hong Kong and Singapore initial public offerings and inclusions in public circulars. Knight Frank is the appointed valuer to four of the five listed REITs in Hong Kong including the first and largest REIT listed in Hong Kong. Previously, we were the appointed valuers to two REITs that were subsequently listed on the Singapore Exchange.
Our valuation team also houses two specialties: Business Valuation and Machinery Valuation.
Our Business Valuation team is experienced in assessing the values of equity interests, financial instruments and intangible assets acting for companies of manufacturing, trading, retail, public utilities, information technology, property development and advertising industries. We have frequently valued assets including convertible bonds, options, warrants, sales and purchase contracts, brand names and customer lists.
Our Machinery Valuation team is actively involved in valuations of numerous asset types for insurance, transactions and finance.
In the past 3 years our Valuation team has carried out over 40 valuation exercises for IPO listings/inclusion in public circulars, re-valuations for four REITs clients, annual revaluation of over 1,000 properties for company accounts, 175 business and intangible assets valuations amounting to a total value in the region of CNY45 billion.
